Vary/Differ

둘다 다르다는 뜻인데 뭐가 다를까?

 

1) Vary : 주로 동일한 객체가 시간/공간 등에 따라 달라질때 쓴다.

ex) The prices of houses in the neighborhood vary depending on their size and condition.

 

2) Differ : 서로 다른 객체를 비교할때 쓰인다.

ex) The two brothers differ in their personalities.
